Customize the social module in marketing emails

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

If you're editing an email using the drag and drop email editor, you can add the social module to your email to allow your recipients to directly navigate to your social media accounts.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
  2. Click the name of a drafted email. 
  3. In the email editor, click the Social module in the left sidebar editor, then drag it into place in your email. If you have a Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise account, the module will include the accounts you connected to the social tool by default.
  4. To add a social account:
    • In the left sidebar editor, click Add in the Social network section.
    • Click the Network dropdown menu and select a network
    • In the Url field, enter the URL of your social channel. 
  5. To edit a social account: 
    • Hover over the account and click the edit edit icon
    • Click the Network dropdown menu and select a network
    • In the Url field, enter the URL of your social channel. 
  6. To remove a social account, hover over the account and click the delete delete icon

  1. To reorder the module's social networks, click a social network, then drag it into a new position. 
  2. To edit the styling of your icons:
    • Click the Styles tab.
    • Click the Display dropdown menu and select whether you'll display an icon, text, or both. 
    • In the Icon style section, click the style that will be applied to all icons in the module.
    • In the Scale field, enter a size for the icons, or click the slider and drag it into position. 
    • Set the spacing, alignment, and padding for your icons.
