Understand requirements
- In order to produce the best results, it's recommended to set up your brand voice before using the QA agent.
Customize the QA agent
In your QA agent settings, you can turn on or off any checks, as well as create up to five custom checks.
- In your HubSpot account, click the
settings icon in the top navigation bar. - In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Marketing > Email.
- Click the QA Agent tab.
- By default, all standard checks are turned on. To turn off a check, toggle the Enabled switch off next to that check.
- To create a custom check:
- In the upper right, click Create custom check.
- In the Check name field, enter a name for the check.
- In the Prompt field, enter a prompt for what you want the QA agent to look for in marketing emails. For example, you could check for whether the email body or subject line mentions the recipient's name.
- Click the Severity dropdown menu and select Warning or Suggestion. This will indicate to the email's creator how much weight to give the results of this check.
- Click Create custom check.
Use the QA agent
- In your HubSpot account, click More, then navigate to Marketing > Email. If More doesn't appear in your account, navigate to Marketing > Email directly.
- Click the name of a drafted email, or click Create email in the top right.
- Once you've finished drafting your email, click Review and send, Review and publish, or Review and schedule in the top right.
- In the right panel, click Run QA Agent.
- Once the agent has finished running, review the suggestions in the Warnings and Suggestions sections.
- Click a check to view a full description of the issue, as well as a recommendation for resolving it.
