You can review your overall show performance, the podcast's top episodes, and more.  ## Before you get started Permissions required [Super Admin](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/user-management/hubspot-user-permissions-guide#super-admin) or [Podcasts](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/user-management/hubspot-user-permissions-guide#website-tools) permissions are required to use the podcasts tool. When reviewing your podcast performance data, please note the following:  - You may notice discrepancies between data from Spotify and HubSpot analytics. - Podcast episodes are cached on Spotify, which can prevent plays from displaying in HubSpot's analytics. - The number of plays in HubSpot may appear lower than in the Spotify app. - Podcast analytics data will only be available for podcasts published after August 15, 2024. ## Review your podcast reports To review your podcast reports: 1. In your HubSpot account, click __More__, then navigate to [__Content__ > __Podcasts__](https://app.hubspot.com/l/podcasts). If *More* doesn't appear in your account, navigate to [__Content__ > __Podcasts__](https://app.hubspot.com/l/podcasts) directly. 2. In the top left, click the __Podcast show__ dropdown menu and select a __podcast__. 3. At the top, click the __Analyze__ tab. 4. In the top left, configure your reports: - __Date range:__ filter your podcast performance data by date range. When filtering by date range, this data will be based on the podcast's listen dates. - __Frequency__: set your podcast data frequency to daily, monthly, or weekly.    5. Review the following podcast reports:  - __Show performance:__ the podcast's overall performance over time. This report will display the number of plays for HubSpot pages and external platforms based on the frequency set in the report filters. - __Top episodes:__ the podcast's top episodes by count of plays. This does not account for unique listeners.  - - __Website plays by country:__ the count and percentage of website plays by the listener's country. This does not include plays by external platforms such as Spotify or Apple podcasts. - - __Website plays by device:__ the count and percentage of website plays by device, such as desktop or mobile devices. This does not include plays by external platforms such as Spotify or Apple podcasts. - - __Website plays by page:__ the count of website plays on your HubSpot pages. This does not include plays by external platforms such as Spotify or Apple podcasts. - - __Website listeners:__ the number of known listeners for your podcast. This report will only include plays by known contacts, which can require analytics consent to track if the cookie banner is enabled. Please note: you may notice a discrepancy between the *website plays* and *website listeners* metrics. The number of website plays includes both unknown visitors and known contacts while the number of *website listens* will only include known contacts.      - - __External plays:__ the count of plays and downloads through any other podcast apps or platforms such as Apple Podcasts over time. - - __External plays by platform:__ the count of external plays by platform.  ## Save or export your podcast report data  You can save or export your report data:  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to __Content__ > __Podcasts__. 2. In the top left, click the __Podcast show__ dropdown menu and select a __podcast__. 3. At the top, click the __Analyze__ tab. 4. To save a report to the reports tool: - In the top left, click __Actions__. Then, select __Save report__. - - Enter a __report name__. - Enter a __report description__. - - Select the __radio button__ to confirm whether you'd like to add the report to a dashboard: - __Don't add to dashboard:__ HubSpot won't add the report to any of your dashboards, but will save the report to your report library so you can use it later. - __Add to existing dashboard:__ you can select an existing dashboard to add the report to. - __Add to new dashboard:__ you can create a new custom dashboard and add the social report to the new dashboard. Click __next__, then enter a __name__ and select a __visibility option__. - Click __Save__ or __Save & add__ if you've chosen to add the report to a dashboard. 5. To export any report data externally: - In the top left, click __Actions__. Then, select __Export__. - In the dialog box, enter your __export name__. - Click the __file format__ dropdown menu and select __csv__, __xls__, or __xlsx__. - At the bottom, click __Export unsummarized data__.
