A call-to-action (CTA) is a button or link that you place on your website to drive prospective customers to convert to leads through landing page forms. Place your CTA in a location where it's easily visible to your visitors and where it makes sense for someone to click on it. For example, you might put a CTA to start a free trial under some text that describes what your product is. Once you have determined where you would like to put your CTA, follow the instructions below to learn how to add them to a website page.

To learn how to create a CTA, read this guide.

Instructions

1. Go to Content > Calls-to-Action

From your Dashboard, go to Content > Calls-to-Action.

2. Choose your CTA

Review the CTAs on your dashboard and decide which one you want to use.

3. Add the CTA to webpage

Now go to the page in which you want to insert the CTA. Place your cursor where you want to place the CTA, then go to Insert > Call-to-Action or select the CTA icon from the toolbar.

The Select a CTA window will pop up. From here, choose which CTA you would like to insert by clicking the CTA and then the Insert CTA button on the left side of the screen.

Your CTA will now appear in your rich text editor and on your page preview. In the content editor, you can always remove or edit your CTA.

4. How to add a CTA to a web page if you don't have a rich text module

To add a CTA to your webpage from the template layout editor, click on Settings in the content editor, scroll down, and then select Edit template.

A screen will pop up asking you to confirm that you want to edit your template layout. Click the blue Edit this layout button or Make a copy if you don't want to affect the other pages using this template.

Once you're in your template, you can add your CTA to the rich-text or CTA module of your choice, or you can create a new module and place the CTA there. Click on the gear icon in the Main body content module (where you will place the CTA) and select Edit Options.

In the Edit Module Options window, you can add a CTA the same way you would in the site pages content editor. Go to Insert > Call-to-Action or click on the Call-to-Action icon in the toolbar.

The Select a CTA window will pop up. From here, choose which CTA you would like to insert by clicking the Insert CTA button on the bottom left side of the screen.

Your CTA will now appear in your rich text editor in Edit Module Options. You can always remove or edit your CTA. Click Done to finish adding your CTA.

Click on the green Publish Changes button in the upper left-hand corner to save the changes you made to your template.
