Last updated: September 24, 2025

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

On the Domains & URLs settings page, you can disconnect a subdomain to delete it from the domain manager. For example, if you want to delete www.example.com and host it's primary content types (e.g., Landing pages) on info.example.com.

Delete a subdomain

  1. In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Content > Domains & URLs.
  3. To move primary content types (e.g., Landing pages or Website pages) before deleting the domain, learn more about changing primary content types. If you don't move primary content types before disconnecting a domain, a system domain will be used.
  4. In the Actions column, click the Actions dropdown menu and select Disconnect for the domain you want to delete.

In the domain settings, an arrow is pointing to the Actions dropdown menu for a brand domain.

  1. In the dialog box, enter the required number to delete the domain and then click Delete.

Please note: If you disconnect a subdomain from HubSpot, any pages staged on that subdomain will no longer be accessible.
