Use forms to create deals

Last updated: April 14, 2026

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Create HubSpot forms using deal properties to create new deals with each form submission. Capture deal-specific information, such as renewal details or order information, directly in new deal records. Use this feature to automate your sales process and ensure data consistency across your pipeline. For example, if you create a renewal form, a new deal record can be created with the deal type and amount when a user submits the form.

Before you get started

  • Deal properties are available in the updated form editor only. They aren't supported in the legacy form editor
  • Payment links and deal properties cannot be included in the same form. This would lead to duplicate deals through the form submission. To create a deal through a form while capturing payments, learn how to use forms to collect payments.

Create a deal when a form is submitted

Create a deal each time your form is submitted by turning on deal creation in your form’s settings.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Forms.

  2. Create a new form or hover over an existing form and click Edit.
  3. In the left panel, click the settings settings icon.
  4. Click the Deals tab.
  5. To create a new deal for each form submission, toggle the Create deal switch on.
  6. Enter values for the following required deal properties:
    • Deal name: enter a deal name for each deal created from your form. When the form is submitted, the submission date and time will be appended to the deal name.
    • Deal pipeline: click the dropdown menu and select the pipeline deals will be created in and move through.
    • Deal stage: click the dropdown menu and select the stage of the pipeline the deal is created in.
  7. To save your form, click Review and update in the upper right. Then, click Update.

Add deal properties to a form

Review deal information for individual form submissions

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Forms.
  2. Hover over an existing form and click Actions. Then, select View submissions.

Analyze revenue attribution for deals

Subscription required A Marketing Hub Enterprise subscription is required to analyze revenue attribution.

Use the revenue attribution report to analyze closed-won revenue attributed to the deals created through your form.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Forms.
  2. Hover over an existing form and click Actions. Then, select View submissions.
  3. On the Performance tab, in the Revenue attribution report, review the following deal metrics:
    • Deals created: the number of deals created through the form.
    • Pipeline created: the total deal amount at the time the deal is created through the form. Changes to the deal amount after the deal is created will not update this report.
    • Revenue closed: total closed-won revenue from deals created through the form. Revenue is included for closed-won deals, even if the deal close date is outside of the selected date range.
  1. To analyze data over a specific period of time, in the upper left, click the date picker and select a date range.
