If your third-party app has multiple product libraries, you must specify which product type items will be assigned to when they sync to HubSpot and vice versa. HubSpot has one product library while your third-party app may have several. As such, the product type must be specified to keep your product library organized.
Please note: this is only available for apps that have product syncing and multiple product libraries.
- In your HubSpot account, click the Marketplace icon marketplace in the main navigation bar. Under Manage, select Connected apps.
- Click the name of the app.
- Click Actions > Edit sync settings on your product sync.
- On the Limit page, click the Product type dropdown menu to select which product types will sync from HubSpot to your third-party app.
- On the Organize page, choose the product type the third-party app's products will be assigned to when they first sync to HubSpot.
