Set up segment notifications

Set up segment notifications to understand critical segment changes in real-time. You can receive notifications when:

• A segment is edited or deleted.
• A segment size changes significantly.
• A segment reaches a specific size. 

To set up segment notifications: 

1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Segments.
2. Click the name of a segment. 
3. Navigate to the Settings tab.
4. To receive notifications, click to toggle the switches on:
   • When this segment is edited or deleted: receive notifications when the segment is edited or deleted.
   • When the size of this segment changes irregularly: receive notifications when your segment size changes in an unexpected way. This setting uses HubSpot AI.
   • When this segment reaches a specific size: receive notifications when a segment reaches a specific size. This number can be either higher or lower than the current segment size. Enter the number of records that trigger the notification. 
5. In the Choose the users and teams who'll receive notifications section, select the users and teams to receive notifications. 
6. To send notifications to your user, click Add me to the segment.
7. Click Save.
