Learn how to pay for HubSpot using ACH. You must be a billing admin to pay your HubSpot invoice.
Please note:
- If paying an invoice, you must be a billing admin.
- ACH is only available for U.S. based customers.
- ACH payments typically take between three to five business days to process. During this time, you may still receive past due payment notifications. You will stop receiving the notifications once the ACH payment has been processed.
Add ACH as a payment method
- In your HubSpot account, click your account name in the top right corner, then click Account & Billing.
- Click the Payment Methods tab.
- Click Connect a bank account.
- Add your bank account information.
- If you’d like to use a different billing address, clear the Use my company address checkbox and enter new address details.
- Click Save changes.
Change your payment method to ACH
To change your payment method from card to ACH:
- In your HubSpot account, click your account name in the top right corner, then click Account & Billing.
- Click the Subscriptions tab.
- Under Payment method, click Change.
- In the popup box, select Bank account and enter your relevant bank details. If you have already connected a bank account, select the bank account you want to make payment with.
- Click Save changes.
- In the popup box, review the requirements and click Authorize payment.
Authorize ACH payments
In certain instances during B2B transactions, some banks can block ACH payments from unknown companies to protect your business account. This can result in your HubSpot payment being declined and you'll risk losing access to your HubSpot account.
To prevent your payments from being blocked, you need to authorize HubSpot for ACH payments:
- Add HubSpot as an authorized payee: most banks let you add authorized payees through your online banking or mobile app. Steps on how to add an authorized payee may vary depending on your bank, but you can find an example here.
- Contact your bank directly: if you don't have any option to add an authorized payee online, please contact your bank and provide the following information for HubSpot:
- Company: HubSpot
- Payment processor: Adyen
- ACH Company ID: 8263863381
Once your bank has authorized HubSpot, you can retry the payment in Account & Billing in your HubSpot account.
