Target Google ads using HubSpot audiences

After creating Google Ads audiences in HubSpot, you must associate them with a campaign in order to see them in your Google Ads account.

You can also use the audiences you created in HubSpot when you create search campaigns directly in the ads tool.

  • Navigate to your Google Ads account.
  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Campaigns.
  • In the top left, click the icon to create a new campaign, or click the name of an existing drafted campaign to edit it.
  • Select a campaign objective and campaign type, then click Continue.
  • On the Campaign settings step, under Audience segments, click Audience Segments to expand the section.
    • Click the Browse tab, then click How they have interacted with your business.
    • To use one of your website visitor audiences, click Website Visitors. If you want to use one of your contact list audiences, click Customer lists.
    • Select the checkboxes next to the names of any of the audiences you created in HubSpot that you want your campaign to target.
  • After you select your audiences, continue creating your campaign. After you publish your campaign in your Google Ads account, it will appear in the HubSpot ads tool.
