HubSpot accounts come with at least one default system domain that can be used to host content.
Understand your system domains
The system domains that are present in your account depend on where your data is hosted and whether you have a paid subscription:
Data hosting location | If you're using HubSpot's free tools | If you have a paid HubSpot subscription | |
European Union | [Hub ID].hubspotpagebuilder.eu | [Hub ID].hs-sites-eu1.com AND [domain - Hub ID].hs-sites-eu1.com |
|
U.S. (East) | [Hub ID].hubspotpagebuilder.com |
[Hub ID].hs-sites.com AND [domain - Hub ID].hs-sites.com |
|
U.S. (West) | [portal name-portalID].hubspotpagebuilder.net | [portalID].hs-sites-na2.com |
|
Canada | [portal name-portalID].hubspotpagebuilder.ca | [portalID].hs-sites-na3.com |
|
Australia | [portal name-portalID].hubspotpagebuilder.au | [portalID].hs-sites-ap1.com |
- These domains are unique to each HubSpot account.
- In most cases, you cannot edit or remove these domains from your account. If your account has 3 system domains, you can disconnect one of the hs-sites domains.
- Hosting your content on these domains will not benefit your SEO as they are HubSpot domains and search engines won't find them. It's recommended to connect your own domain to host your content.
- If you change domain hosts and have temporary downtime, or if you don't renew your domain with your hosting provider, HubSpot content can be hosted temporarily on these domains.
Please note: you cannot create new system domains with the format [Hub ID].hs-sites.com, [Hub ID].hs-sites-eu1.com, [portalID].hs-sites-na2.com, [portalID].hs-sites-na3.com, or [portalID].hs-sites-ap1.com.
Connect your system domain as a redirect domain
You can connect an additional system domain as a redirect domain:
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Content > Domains & URLs.
- Click to expand Advanced options at the bottom of the page.
- In the New system redirect domain section, click Add new domain.
- In the dialog box, enter a subdomain to redirect from, then click the Domain to redirect to dropdown menu and select a domain.
- Click Save.
