Verify form submissions with reCAPTCHA v3

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Use reCAPTCHA v3 to add invisible bot detection to your HubSpot forms. Google’s reCAPTCHA v3 verifies whether form submissions are made by a person or a bot without needing interaction from the visitor. This helps reduce spam while keeping your form experience seamless for your visitors.

Customize the reCAPTCHA spam sensitivity used to detect suspicious or bot activity in your forms. For example, if you're experiencing excess spam activity, you can increase your spam sensitivity for stronger spam protection across your forms.

Permissions required Edit forms permissions are required to create or edit a forms and customize form settings.

Available reCAPTCHA versions

  • ReCAPTCHA v2: prompts visitors with an interactive checkbox or image puzzle before the form can be submitted.
  • ReCAPTCHA v3: detects bot activity in the background without displaying a CAPTCHA challenge.
