How can this help you?
Sometimes personalizing your content doesn’t just have to be about including a name to address your visitor, or changing a couple sentences of content. Using a smart form module will allow you to change an entire form depending on your website visitor.
Instructions for your HubSpot page
1. Navigate to Website Pages or Landing PagesNavigate to an existing or create a new page. This can be done by navigating to Content > Website Pages or Content > Landing Pages. (If you don't have Website Pages, you’ll want to select Landing Pages here.)
2. Create new or edit pageOnce in Landing Pages or Site Pages, you can either choose to edit an existing page, or click the blue Create a new website/landing page button.
3. Make the module smart
Once you’re in your HubSpot page, you’ll want to navigate to the form module on the left-hand side of your page where you normally edit and insert your content. Before making this form module smart, you should feel confident in your default form you have set there now for any visitor that you’re not targeting.
When you’re happy with the default form you have set, go to the form module you want to add your smart content to and click on the smart icon to get started.
4. Choose and create your type of smart contentYou should have already decided the visitor you want to target, now you want to choose the type of smart content to use. You have five options: country, device type, referral source, contact list membership, or lifecycle stage. You can only choose one type of smart content to create here. Choose one of the options then click Next step.
5. Customize your smart ruleThis is where all your content creation for smart rules takes place. You’ll see the top of this area where you will want to select your form options (just like you did for your default form already) and once you’ve chosen your options for your smart rule, click Done.
That’s it! You’ve created smart text for your web page.
