Edit your logo

In your settings, you can edit the default logo used in the logo module. You can override this default logo on an individual page, post, email, global content module, or template. 

Edit your default logo

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the main navigation bar. 
  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Website > Pages.
  • Click the Choose a domain to edit its settings dropdown menu and select a domain. To set the same default logo across all domains, select Default settings for all domains.
  • Click the Branding tab. 
  • To remove an existing logo, hover over the image in the Logo section and click the X.

  • To add a new logo, click Upload and select an image from your computer, or click Browse images and select an image from the files tool. 
  • Edit your logo's settings:
    • In the Logo alt text field, enter text to describe to search engines and screen readers what the image is. This will improve the accessibility and SEO of your site. Learn more about website accessibility in our developer documentation. 
    • To change your logo's dimensions, enter a width and height in the Logo width and Logo height fields. 
    • To direct visitors to a URL when they click on your logo, enter the URL in the Logo link field.

  • In the bottom left, click Save. 

Please note: if no logo is selected, the Logo module will display the company name in your email footer settings. To turn this setting off, click to toggle the Show company name when logo isn't set switch off. 


Override your default logo

You can override the default logo on an individual email, page, blog post, global content module, or template. This will not affect the default logo in your settings. 

Override your default logo in an email, page, or blog post

  • Navigate to your content:

    • Website Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Website > Website Pages.
    • Landing Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Landing Pages.
    • Email: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
  • Click the name of the email, page, or post.
  • In the content editor, click your logo. If the Edit global content? dialog box appears, your logo must be edited in the global content editor. 
  • In the sidebar editor, click to toggle the Override default logo on this page switch on. 
  • Above the default logo, click Replace.  Then select a new logo: 
    • To use an image from the files tool, select an image in the right panel.
    • To upload a new image, click the Add image dropdown menu. Select Upload files and select an image from your computer, or select From a URL and enter a URL. 
  • In the fields below your logo, enter new alt text, width, height, and URL, if necessary.

  • To save your changes, click Save in the upper left . To set changes live for a page or post, click Update in the top right.

Override your default logo in global content

Please note: changes to global content will affect multiple templates and pages. HubSpot recommends checking which assets are using your global content before making changes. 

  • Navigate to your content:

    • Website Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Website > Website Pages.
    • Landing Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Landing Pages.
    • Blog: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Website > Blog.
  • Click the name of a page using global content.
  • In the content editor, click your logo. 
  • In the dialog box, click Open in global content editor.

  • In the global content editor, click your logo.
  • In the sidebar editor, click to toggle the Override default logo on this page switch on. 
  • Above the logo, click Replace.  Then select a new logo: 
    • To use an image from the files tool, select an image in the right panel.
    • To upload a new image, click the Add image dropdown menu. Select Upload files and select an image from your computer, or select From a URL and enter a URL. 
  • In the fields below your logo, enter new alt text, width, height, and URL, if necessary. edit-logo-in-global-content
  • In the top right, click Publish to [x] assets.

Override your default logo in a template

Please note: changes to a template will affect any pages using that template. HubSpot recommends checking which pages are using a template before making changes. 


  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Files and Templates > Design Tools.
  • In the finder, select a template. 
  • In the layout editor, click the Logo module. 
  • In the inspector, scroll down to the Default content section.
  • Click to toggle the Override default logo on this page switch on.

  • Above the logo, click Replace.  Then select a new logo: 
    • To use an image from the files tool, select an image in the right panel.
    • To upload a new image, click the Add image dropdown menu. Click Upload files and select an image from your computer, or click From a URL and enter a URL. 
  • In the fields below your logo, enter new alt text, width, height, and URL, if necessary. 
  • In the top right, click Publish changes to set your changes live.
