Add common modules to pages and blog posts

Modules are reusable content elements that you can add to HubSpot website pages, landing pages, and blog posts. Use modules to add and organize content such as text, images, forms, calls-to-action (CTAs), videos, meeting links, and payment links.

Before you get started

Before you add modules to pages and blog posts, review these requirements and considerations.

Permissions required Marketing Access with Edit and Publish permission is required to add modules to pages or posts.

Add a common module to a page or post

  • Click the name of your content. 
  • In the content editor, click the add Add icon in the left sidebar. 
  • Click to expand a module category, then click a module and drag it into position on the page or post. 

In the content editor, the Add icon is selected in the left sidebar and modules are displayed.

  • To take your changes live, click Publish or Update in the top right.

Overview of common modules

The following modules are available in the content editor. Module availability can vary depending on the content type, template, and user permissions.

  • Rich text: Add an format text, links, images, videos, embed code, and tables. Learn more about editing rich text modules.
  • Image: Add a single image to a page or post. You can upload an image to the files tool or select an existing image. Learn more about editing image modules.
  • Header: Add a heading to label a section of a page or blog post. Search engines scan header tags to understand the structure of your content.
  • Call-to-action: Add a CTA that directs visitors to a downloadable file or page on your site. Learn more about creating and customizing CTAs.
  • Form: Display an existing HubSpot form or create a new form. Learn more about creating and customizing forms.
  • Gallery: Display a carousel of images with descriptions and links. Learn more about image gallery modules.
  • Button: Add a clickable button and customize its text, colors, and styles. 
  • Divider: Add a horizontal line between sections of a page or blog post. Customize the divider's color, style, and spacing.
  • Follow Me: Add icons that link to social media profiles or other external pages. Select default icons for common social networks or upload custom icons. 
  • Video: Add a HubSpot video from the files tool or embed an external video using its URL. Learn more about adding videos to content.
  • Meetings: Add a meetings scheduling widget to a page or blog post. Learn more about setting up a meeting link.
  • Payments: Add a checkout button to a page or blog post. When visitors click the button, they're directed to a checkout page where they can enter their payment information. Learn more about adding payment links to your content.
