Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

When creating a workflow in Agent Hub, you can choose to trigger the workflow whenever a webhook event is received. This allows you to trigger your webhook based on events that occur in external applications, and use properties from the received webhook with other actions.

Trigger your workflow with webhook events

  1. In your HubSpot account, click More, then navigate to Agents > Agent Hub. If More doesn't appear in your account, navigate to Agents > Agent Hub directly.
  2. At the top, click the Workflows tab.
  3. Click the name of an existing workflow built in the Agent Hub workflow builder. Or, create a new workflow in Agent Hub.
  4. In the workflow builder, click Choose trigger
  5. In the left panel, click Webhook event is received
  6. Click the Webhook event dropdown menu and select an existing webhook. Or, click Create new event. To create a new webhook event:

  1. After setting up your webhook trigger, continue creating the workflow

Example use cases

  • Trigger an in-app notification: send an in-app notifiation to a specific user whenever a webhook is received.
  • Trigger an update: use properties from your received webhook as tokens to update CRM records in your account, using the Edit record action.
  • Trigger actions in other applications: use a webhook to trigger workflow actions for other third-party applications. For example, you can use a webhook to trigger a Slack notification, and populate the notification with information from both the webhook and HubSpot CRM data.
