How do I change a user's name?

Marketing: Free, Starter, Basic, Pro, Enterprise
Sales: N/A

A user's name can only be changed by that specific user, not by another user, even if that user is an administrator.

If you'd like to change your user's name:

  • Log into HubSpot. 
  • Navigate to Account Menu Settings.

  • On the My Profile you can edit your name (first and/or last, as desired) on the Basic Info tab.
  • Click Update to save your changes.

Please note: if the email address of a user has changed, you'll need to create a new user and transfer ownership of associated records. You can find more information on this process here
