Add videos to one-to-one emails, templates, and sequence emails

Record and send videos in one-to-one emails, sales email templates, or when enrolling contacts in sequence. Each video can be up to 1 hour in length.
Please note: these video features are independent of the Vidyard for HubSpot integration, which is a separate paid feature for Vidyard customers.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to your contacts, companies, deals, or tickets.
- Click the name of an object record.
- In the left panel, click the email icon email .
- To insert a video in the email, click the video icon insertVideo in the pop-up box. Or, to add the video to a template or sequence, click Templates or Sequences at the top, then click the video icon insertVideo in the template or sequence editor.
- If this is your first time adding video, you'll be prompted to authorize the Vidyard GoVideo application and create a personal account. To confirm your account, click Verify in the follow-up email from Vidyard.
- Once your account is ready and you're signed in to Vidyard, you can create personalized video recordings within HubSpot.
- In the dialog box, click New Video and select from the following:

- Camera Recording: create a video using the camera and microphone connected to your computer.
- Use the dropdown menus to select the camera and microphone for your video. Select Mic off to disable sound entirely.
- Click Start Recording. You can pause or restart the video at any time during the recording process.
- When you're done recording your video, click Stop.
- To add the video to your email, click Insert.
- Use the dropdown menus to select the camera and microphone for your video. Select Mic off to disable sound entirely.
- Screen Recording: create a video of your computer screen, along with the camera and microphone connected to your computer.
Please note: if using Google Chrome, you’ll be prompted to download the Vidyard GoVideo Google Chrome extension before you can create this type of video. If the GoVideo extension is not showing on your browser, refer to Vidyard's documentation for support.
- Use the dropdown menus to select the camera and microphone used for your recording. In the camera dropdown menu, select a camera to include a video alongside your screen recording or select No Camera to record only your computer screen.
- Click Start Recording.
- Select a screen to share for your recording, then click Share.
- A banner will appear to indicate the screen is being recorded (it will not appear in your recording). Click Hide to remove this banner from view, or click Stop sharing to immediately stop the recording.
- In the lower-right corner of the screen, use the controls to pause, stop, or restart your recording.
- After the screen recording is finished, click the stop icon.
- To add the video to your email, click Insert.
- Use the dropdown menus to select the camera and microphone used for your recording. In the camera dropdown menu, select a camera to include a video alongside your screen recording or select No Camera to record only your computer screen.
- Upload Video: select this option to upload an existing video file from your device.
- Select a file from your device and click Open.
- To add the video to your email, click Insert.
- Camera Recording: create a video using the camera and microphone connected to your computer.
- To insert an existing video into your sales email, select the checkbox to the left of the video, then click Insert.
- To delete an existing video, click the name of the video recording and click the trash icon delete.
Please note: if your video isn't saved after you finish recording, you can recover it following Vidyard's support documentation.
