Import new HubSpot users with a CSV file

Last updated: October 29, 2025

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

If you're a Super Admin or a user with Add and edit users permissions, you can bulk import users with a CSV file during the user creation process. This can be useful if you have many users who need the same permissions and seats.

Please note: on March 5, 2024, HubSpot introduced a seats-based pricing model to all new Hubs and subscription tiers. Accounts created prior to March 5, 2024 won't see this new import feature until they are migrated to the seats-based pricing model.

Prepare the import file

To import users in bulk, the spreadsheet must:

  • Be a .csv file.
  • Include a column for the users’ Email.

When setting up your import, you only need to have one column for email addresses. You'll assign permissions and seats later.
