Import new HubSpot users with a CSV file

Last updated: April 26, 2024

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

All products and plans

Please note: on March 5, 2024, HubSpot introduced a seats-based pricing model to all new Hubs and subscription tiers. Accounts created prior to March 5, 2024 will not see this new import feature until they are migrated to the seats-based pricing model.

You can bulk import users with a CSV file during the user creation process.

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Users & Teams.
  • Above the user table, in the upper right, click Import Users.

  • Drag and drop or upload the CSV file under Users. Then, click the dropdown menu to select the language of the column headers in your file.
  • Click Next.
  • On the Mapping Guide table, click the HubSpot Property dropdown menus to select the correct HubSpot properties for each column header from the file. If there is an error with the mapping, click [#] errors.

  • To resolve an error, in the right panel under Existing Option, click the dropdown menu to select an existing property in your HubSpot account. You can also resolve this error in your CSV file, and then reimport your file again.
