Import new HubSpot users with a CSV file
Last updated: June 30, 2025
Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

If you're a Super Admin or a user with Add and edit users permissions, you can bulk import users with a CSV file during the user creation process.
Please note: on March 5, 2024, HubSpot introduced a seats-based pricing model to all new Hubs and subscription tiers. Accounts created prior to March 5, 2024 will not see this new import feature until they are migrated to the seats-based pricing model.
Prepare the import file
To import users in bulk, the spreadsheet must:
- Be a .csv file.
- First name
- Last name
- Team
- Seat
When setting up your import, you can refer to this user sample spreadsheet: CSV.
Please note: it is recommended to use the formatting shown in the user sample spreadsheet. However, to import multiple values in one row instead, add a comma between each value without spaces (e.g., value 1,value 2). Using a semicolon instead of a comma will result in an error.
