Use social agent to generate social posts

Use Breeze social agent to generate social posts based on your marketing goals, audience, brand voice, and social media accounts. The generated posts will include suggested publishing times.

After turning your social agent on, you can also use social agent to generate new social posts with AI, and optimize your social post captions and scheduling times.

Please note: Please avoid sharing any sensitive information in your inputs. Please review the AI-generated outputs for biases and inaccuracies. To provide and improve the product, HubSpot logs and stores your inputs, generated outputs, and usage metrics when you use our AI tools. HubSpot shares your inputs with AI Service Providers in order to enable your use of this tool, and AI Service Providers store your inputs for content moderation purposes. Your inputs will be attributed to you. By using this tool, you agree to comply with our AI Service Providers' Policies.

Turn on the social agent

To turn on the social agent:

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
  2. At the top, click the Suggested Posts tab. 
  3. Click Set up suggested posts
  4. In the left panel, enter the following details: 
    • Tell us more about [company name]: enter a description of your business. When creating your social posts, additional information from your HubSpot account such as brand voice, colors, and company information will also be used. 
    • Tell us more about your target social network: enter a detailed description of your desired audience. It is recommended to include the following: age, gender, location, specific interests, and social media behavior. 
  5. After entering your details, a preview of an example social post will appear in the right panel. In the bottom right, click Turn on suggested posts.

Edit your social agent

After turning on your social agent, you can still update your social agent details. To edit your social agent details:

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
  2. At the top, click the Suggested posts tab. 
  3. In the top right, click Social agent details. In the editor, you can update your social agent audience and business details.
  4. After making your updates, in the bottom right, click Update suggested posts

Set up your social identity

Set up your social identity to tailor how social agent generates suggested social posts and other social content. 

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
  2. At the top, click Suggested posts.
  3. In the top right, click Train my Social AI.
  4. In the right panel, set up your network specific settings: 
  5. In the Shared settings tab, set up your overall network specific details. These will be applied to all networks unless the option to override the settings has been selected: 
    • Target audience: you can configure your target audience in your AI settings. Learn more about setting up your AI data sources
    • Emoji use: select how often emojis should be used in your social posts. You can choose from Never, Sometimes, and Always.
    • Keywords to avoid: any added terms will not be used when creating social posts for your brand. 
      • To add a new keyword, click Add keyword and enter your keyword. Then, click Add.
      • To remove a keyword, click the x icon next to the keyword. 
    • Maximum number of hashtags: enter or scroll to the maximum number of hashtags that will be added per social post. 
    • Hashtags to use: set up hashtags for the AI to focus on when creating social posts. 
      • To add a hashtag, click Add hashtag and enter your hashtag. Then, click Add
      • To remove a hashtag, click the x icon next to the hashtag.
    • Hashtags to avoid: set up hashtags for the AI to avoid when creating social posts. Any added hashtags will not be used when creating social posts.
      • To add a hashtag, click Add hashtag and enter your hashtag. Then, click Add
      • To remove a hashtag, click the x icon next to the hashtag.
  1. To customize your social identity settings for a specific network:
    • At the top, click the [network name]. You can customize your social identity settings for Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn. 
    • Click to toggle the Toggle to override with custom settings switch on. 
    • Continue customizing your social identity settings for the network. 
    • After you've customized your settings, in the top right, click the x icon to exit the social identity panel.

  1. To set up your social identity's general settings, at the top, click the General tab. 
    • Remember this in my posts: add parameters and insights based on how you post and edit for reference when the AI is generating suggested posts and content. For example, you may want to include a specific introduction or catchphrase.
      • To add a new AI memory, click Add memory and enter your memory in the field. Then, click Save
      • To edit an existing memory, click the Edit icon next to the memory. 
      • To remove a memory, click the Delete icon next to the memory. Then, click Yes
    • Upload brand materials: add documents that explain how your brand creates content. This will be used by the AI to tailor your suggested social posts and social content. 
      • You can use existing files or upload a new file. 
      • You can upload up to 3 files.

Review and use social agent post suggestions

After turning on Breeze social agent, it may take up to a few hours for the posts to generate. You can schedule the suggested posts directly, regenerate the posts again, or manually edit the posts in the social post editor.

To review and use suggested posts:

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
  2. At the top, click the Suggested posts tab. 
  3. To review posts for a specific social post category, click the Social post category dropdown menu and select a category. A list of AI-generated post suggestions based on the category will appear. 
  4. To delete a suggested post, click Delete
  5. To review the post preview for each social network, in the bottom left of the post, click each respective social network icon

  1. To review and publish a post, click Review.

    • To regenerate the post image:
      • Below the social post preview, click Regenerate and select Image
      • In the dialog box, enter additional details for your image. Then, click Generate
      • To regenerate the image, click Regenerate.
      • To apply the new image across all social networks, select the Insert across all networks checkbox. If not, the image will only apply to the selected network.
      • Click Insert

    • To regenerate the post image:
      • Below the social post preview, click Regenerate and select Copy & Hashtags
      • In the dialog box, click the options at the top to review the different copy options.
      • To regenerate the copy, click Regenerate
      • After selecting your copy option, click Insert.

    • To save the post to your social drafts, in the top right, click Actions and select Save to drafts. Learn more about managing social draft posts
    • To delete the post, in the top right, click Actions and select Delete post
    • To use the generated social post:
      • In the top right, click Edit.
      • In the dialog box, click the dropdown menu and select the checkboxes next to the social networks that you'd like to publish to. Then, click Edit. You'll be redirected to the social post editor.
      • In the social editor, the details for the post will be automatically populated, including suggested publishing times. You can schedule and publish the post directly or continue editing the social post

Create social posts with AI

After turning on social agent, you can use AI to generate new social posts based on specified inputs.
  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
  2. In the top right, click Create with AI
  3. Enter your post details: 
    • Explain the key information of what the social post should cover: enter a description for the content of the post.
    • Reference files and content: you can enter a URL to reference a website, or use a document file. 
    • Images: select the image source for your social post. 
      • AI-generation image: use an AI-generated image. 
      • Upload your own: use an existing image file or upload a new image for your social post. 
  4. After setting up your post, in the bottom right, click Generate social posts. A list of social post suggestions will appear.

  1. To see a preview of the suggested social post, click Review.
  2. To save a post to your social drafts, select Save to drafts next to the post that you'd like to save. Learn more about managing social draft posts
  3. To use the generated social post, click Edit. You'll be directed to the social post editor.

Use social agent to optimize your social posts

After turning on social agent, you can choose to enhance your social captions and improve your copy based on network. You can also schedule your social posts based on past performance. These times are network specific and are scheduled based on your audience's previous engagement levels.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
  2. In the upper right, click Create social post or selecting an existing draft post. You can also clone an existing post
  3. Set up your social post draft. Then, select a social network.
  4. To optimize your social post caption using AI:
    • At the top, click Optimize caption
    • To generate another caption, click Regenerate caption
    • To return to your original copy, click Revert

  1. To use AI-suggested posting times, in the When to publish section, click Schedule for later. Then, select a recommended time.
  2. Continue setting up your social post.
