Create campaign-based workflows to automate based on campaign-level data such as budget, revenue, and more. You can also set influenced contact event enrollment triggers to enroll a campaign's influenced contacts and automate your campaign processes.
Example use-cases
The following examples outline the different ways you can use campaigns with workflows:
- Trigger alerts when a campaign overspends its budget.
- Create tasks based on campaign owner or team.
- Use Edit record workflow action to update your campaign details.
- Automatically follow up with influenced contacts using a series of automated emails.
Create campaign-based workflows
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automation > Workflows.
- In the top right, click Create workflow and select From scratch.
- In the left panel, click Trigger manually.
- Under Choose a type of record that can enroll, select Campaign.
- Continue setting up your workflow.
Enroll influenced contacts in workflows
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automation > Workflows.
- In the top right, click Create workflow and select From scratch.
- In the left panel, search for and select Campaign Influence.

- To add additional criteria to refine by specific campaigns or assets, within the trigger group, click + Add Criteria. Then, set up your additional criteria.
- At the top, click Next.
- Continue setting up your event enrollment criteria.
