Understand credit tiers

Please note: Breeze Intelligence credits can only be used for Breeze Intelligence features.

For more information on credit tiers, review the HubSpot Product & Services Catalog

Review your credit audit and period

The Credit usage table will display the following:

  • Usage audit: the total number of credits you currently have and how many you have used in this usage period.
  • Usage period: the usage period is aligned to your monthly subscription start date (e.g., August 1, 2024).
  • Subscription start date: the first day of the next usage period (e.g., September 1, 2024). Credits reset every month on this day.

For example, your subscription start date is August 1st and you purchase one 1,000 Breeze Intelligence Credits. If you use 500 credits on August 15th, you'll have 500 credits remaining for the month of August. On the next subscription start date, September 1st, you'll have 1,000 credits regardless of how many credits you used in August.

The subscription start date depends on your contract:

  • For monthly subscriptions, the update date will be the date of your renewal each month (e.g., if you purchased on April 15, your next renewal date is May 15).

  • For other subscriptions, you’ll have the ability to purchase an annual contract commitment length, or more if you work directly with your Customer Success Manager. Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual payment terms will be available.

To navigate to the Credit usage table:

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, in the Data Management section, click Enrichment
  • In the Settings tab, in the Credit usage section, you can review:
    • The total credits you have.
    • How many credits you have used.
    • Your usage period.

Manage credits

Purchase credits manually

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, in the Data Management section, click Enrichment.
  • In the Settings tab, in the top right, click Get credits.

Automatic credit tier upgrades

If you exceed your monthly credits, you’ll automatically be upgraded to another plan for the same amount of credits you previously purchased.

For example, if you have 300 credits each purchase period and use 301 credits, you'll automatically be upgraded to 400 credits (four 100 credit tiers). The new quantity will be effective through the remainder of your contract, unless you exceed your credits and are automatically upgraded again.

When you are automatically upgraded, you can immediately use the credits for the remainder of your usage period. You’ll receive a prorated charge the following day.

Purchase additional credits

You can purchase additional credits by increasing your current tier in your current plan or by upgrading your plan. You'll only be charged a prorate if you purchase more credits during your usage period. You can use the credits immediately after buying them.

Cancel or downgrade your credits

You can only cancel or downgrade at the end of your contractual commitment term. For assistance, reach out to HubSpot Support.

Understand credit usage notifications

Billing contacts and super admins automatically receive email notifications and in-app banner notifications when you have used:

  • 75% of your credit tier;
  • 85% of your credit tier;
  • 90% of your credit tier.

If you ‌exceed your monthly credits, you'll automatically be upgraded. Billing contacts and super admins will automatically receive an upgrade email notification and in-app banner notification.
