When you update your company’s brand or launch a rebrand, you’ll need to review multiple assets and settings across your HubSpot account. Use this guide to identify which assets apply to your rebrand. For example, if you’re changing your company’s domain, you may need to update connected domains. If you’re only updating brand elements such as your logo or colors, you may only need to update branding settings and templates.
Domains
Update your connected domains when changing your website URL or moving to a new domain. This ensures your content, files, and tracking settings reflect your new brand across all hosted assets.
- Connect a domain or update your connected domains in your account.
- Add or update the domain for files hosted in HubSpot including images and videos used on a website.
Brand identity
Update your brand identity to apply consistent branding across your HubSpot content and tools, including pages, emails, and sales assets.
- Add the logo, favicon, brand colors, fonts, and themes.
- Set the brand voice with AI (Professional or Enterprise only).
- Generate the brand identity context with AI (Professional or Enterprise only).
Website settings
Update your website settings if your rebrand includes moving to HubSpot or managing content on an external site. This ensures tracking, forms, and CTAs continue to work correctly after your domain or branding changes.
- Ask your Customer Success Manager or Channel Consultant about starting a new template setup if your site isn't hosted on HubSpot.
- Add the HubSpot tracking code to any new non-HubSpot hosted website pages to allow HubSpot to track website analytics.
- Add or update your company domain in the account settings to ensure the site is crawled for reporting and analytics. It's recommended to do this immediately before a new site goes live.
- Add your HubSpot forms to your external website so that form submissions create and update contacts in your HubSpot CRM.
- Add HubSpot CTAs to your external website where applicable so that CTA metrics can be tracked in HubSpot.
Content updates
Update your content and templates to apply your new branding across pages, blogs, and external channels. This ensures a consistent experience for visitors across all touchpoints.
- Set up HubSpot templates, or swap any existing page templates.
- Configure blog templates.
- Connect social media accounts.
- Add or update the company domain used in the footer of your marketing emails.
