Manage your social posts
Last updated: October 14, 2020
After you've created or drafted a social post in HubSpot, you can return to edit them later. While you cannot edit published social posts, you can clone and edit them before republishing.
You can also delete drafted or scheduled posts if you decide you don't want to publish them, or delete Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn posts that you've already published.
Please note: you cannot edit or delete an image on a Facebook post you published through HubSpot.
Edit draft or scheduled social posts
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Scheduled or Drafts.
- Click the social post you want to edit.
- In the right pane, make your edits to the social post, then click Update scheduled post or Update draft.
Clone and edit published social posts
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- Click the social post you want to clone and edit.
- In the upper right, click Clone.
- In the right pane, make your edits to the social post, then click Publish post now or Schedule post.
Delete drafted or scheduled social posts
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Scheduled or Drafts.
- Select the checkbox next to the social post(s) to delete.
- At the top of the table, click Delete.
- In the dialog box, click Delete x post(s) to confirm the deletion.
Delete published social posts
Please note: Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter posts can be deleted through HubSpot after they are published. Due to Instagram's API limitations, Instagram posts cannot be deleted through HubSpot once published and must be deleted directly on the Instagram platform.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- Hover over the social post to delete, then click the Actions dropdown menu and select Delete.
- In the dialog box, click Delete post to confirm the deletion.
