  • Only posts published through HubSpot can be deleted from the social tool. Externally published posts cannot be deleted through HubSpot and must be deleted directly from their respective platforms.
  • Facebook, LinkedIn, and X posts can be deleted through HubSpot after they are published. Due to Instagram's API limitations, Instagram posts cannot be deleted through HubSpot once published and must be deleted directly on Instagram.
  • Deleting a post externally will not delete it in HubSpot. If a post is deleted from the social platform, the post and associated data will still be displayed in HubSpot.
    • Any attempts to view the post on the social platform from HubSpot will result in an error.
    • To remove the post from your social tool, you must delete it in HubSpot as well.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
  2. Hover over the social post to delete and click Actions. Then, select Delete.
