Last updated: May 11, 2022
Learn how to associate content assets with specific campaigns from their respective tools. You can also associate existing content assets or create new assets from the campaign's details page.
Please note: once tracking URLs for paid search campaigns and other sources are created, they cannot be associated with a HubSpot campaign. Learn more about associating campaigns when creating tracking URLs.
Blog posts, emails, landing pages, and website pages
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to your blog, emails, landing pages, or website pages.
- Hover over a blog post, email, or page and click Edit.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click the Campaign dropdown menu and select an existing campaign or create campaign to create a new campaign.
- In the upper right, click Update to publish your changes.
Ad campaigns
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Campaigns.
- Click on a campaign.
- In the upper right, click Add assets.
- In the dialog box, select Ad campaigns in the left sidebar menu.
- Select the checkbox next to an ad campaign to associate it with your marketing campaign.
- In the bottom left, click Save.
Sent emails
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
- Click the name of the sent email.
- In the upper right, click the Actions > Select campaign.
- In the dialog box, click the Select a campaign dropdown menu and select a campaign, then click Save.
When you add or change the campaign of a sent email:
- Sent, opened, and clicks metrics will display on the campaign details page.
- Traffic to your website from a link clicked in the email will not be associated with the new campaign, and will not appear on the campaign details page or in campaign analytics. Such traffic will remain associated with the original campaign (or no campaign, if one wasn't selected) based on the tracking parameters automatically added to the link URL when the email was sent.

- In the dialog box, select Social posts in the left sidebar menu.
- Select the checkbox next to a social post to associate it with your marketing campaign. All social posts currently associated with the campaign will be pre-selected.
- In the bottom left, click Save.
Please note: each social post can only be associated with one campaign. If a social post is already associated with another campaign, the campaign name will be displayed in the format Currently part of [campaign name]. Selecting and adding the social post will remove it from any other campaigns.
If your published social post is associated with an existing campaign, you can also update the associated campaign from the social tool:
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
- In the Manage tab, click a social post.
- Next to Campaign, click Edit.
- In the dialog box, click the dropdown menu and select a campaign, then
