Optimize social posts

When creating a social post, you can use AI optimization to improve your post captions and publishing schedule. With this feature, you can:

• Use AI to optimize your social post captions for each social network. 
• Schedule social posts with AI-suggested publishing dates and times. Recommended times are optimized based on industry trends as well as your historical social engagement data. These times are optimized for each social network.

Before you get started

Before you begin working with this feature, take note of the settings needed to optimize social posts. 

• If you're a Super Admin, learn how to opt your account into the beta.
• Turn on the Give users access to generative AI tools and features setting. Learn how to manage your AI settings.

Please note: Please avoid sharing any sensitive information in your enabled data inputs for AI features, including your prompts. Admins can configure generative AI features in account management settings. Optimize social posts with AI

1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.

2. In the upper right, click Create social post. You can also hover over a draft or scheduled post and click Edit, or you can clone an existing post. 
3. Under Select accounts, click the dropdown menu to select the social accounts you want to post to. You’ll need to select one or more accounts to optimize captions for each network. 
4. In the social post text box, enter your post caption. You’ll need to enter at least 20 characters to optimize the caption with AI. 
5. Click the corresponding social account icon that you want to optimize for. 
6. To optimize your post caption, at the top, click Optimize caption. 
   • To generate another caption, click Regenerate caption. 
   • To return to your original copy, click Revert. 

7. To optimize your publishing time, under When to publish, click a recommended time. If you're on the Draft tab, under When to publish, click a social network to view recommended times. 
   • This will update the post’s publishing schedule automatically for that selected social account.

8. Continue setting up your social post.
