Edit images

In the HubSpot image editor, you can crop, resize, or rotate an uploaded image. Then, save the changed image as a clone of the original. 

You can access the image editor from multiple tools including:

• Ads tool
• Content editor 
• Files tool
• Social tool

Edit images in the Ads tool

1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Ads.
2. In the top right, click the Create dropdown menu and select Ad campaign.
3. Select your ad type (e.g., Website visit ad), ad network (e.g., Facebook), and then click Next in the top left.
4. In the left panel, click insertImage imageSelect Image/Video in the Image/Video section.
5. In the right panel, hover over an image and then click Details.
6. Click the Clone and edit dropdown menu and select Crop and resize.
7. In the image editor, click Crop or Resize.
8. When you're finished editing the image, click Save new image.

Edit images in the content editor 

1. Navigate to your content:

   • Website Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Website Pages.
   • Landing Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Landing Pages.
   • Blog: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Blog.
2. Click the name of your content. 
3. In the content editor, click the rich text module. 
4. In the rich text toolbar, click the insertImage image icon. 
5. In the right panel, enter text to search for the image.
6. Hover over the image and click Details. 
7. Click the Clone and edit dropdown menu and select Crop and resize.
8. In the image editor, click Crop or Resize.
9. When you're finished editing the image, click Save new image.

1. Navigate to your content:
   
   • Website Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Website Pages.
   • Landing Pages: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Landing Pages.
   • Blog: In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Blog.
2. Click the name of your content.
3. In the content editor, click the image module.
4. In the sidebar editor, click Replace in the Image field. You can also hover over the image and click Replace.
5. In the right panel, enter text to search for the image.
6. Hover over the image and click Details.
7. Click the Clone and edit dropdown menu and select Crop and resize.
8. In the image editor, click Crop or Resize.
9. When you're finished editing the image, click Save new image.

Edit images in the files tool

1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Files.
2. On the Files page, enter text to search for the image.
3. Click the name of an image file. 
4. In the right panel, click the Clone and edit dropdown menu and select Crop and resize.
5. In the image editor, click Crop or Resize.
6. When you're finished editing the image, click Save new image.

Edit images in the social tool

1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Social.
2. In the upper right, click Create social post.
3. In the left panel, click insertImage imageSelect image in the Add media section.
4. In the right panel, hover over an image and then click Details.
5. Click the Clone and edit dropdown menu and select Crop and resize.
6. In the image editor, click Crop or Resize.
7. When you're finished editing the image, click Save new image.

Crop and resize images

1. Click Crop.
2. Click and drag the corners or edges of the image selector to adjust its dimensions.
3. Click the rotate rotate icon to adjust the image 45 degrees clockwise.
4. To optimize your image for a social media post, click the Custom dropdown menu and select Facebook, Instagram (Square, Portrait, or Landscape), LinkedIn, or X. 
5. To crop by dimensions, enter the dimensions in the Crop (width x height) fields.
6. When you're finished editing the image, click Save new image.

To resize an image in the image editor:

1. Click Resize.
2. Enter the dimensions for the image in the Size (width x height) field.
3. When you're finished editing the image, click Save new image.
