Mobile widgets and app shortcuts give access to the Breeze Assistant mobile app from a device’s home screen or system search. Use widgets or shortcuts to start prompts, view recent responses, or trigger common actions without opening the Breeze Assistant mobile app.

Before you get started
Before using mobile widgets and app intents, make sure to fully understand what steps should be taken ahead of time, as well as the limitations of the feature and potential consequences of using it.
Understand requirements
- The Breeze Assistant mobile app must be installed and logged in. Learn more about installing the Breeze Assistant mobile app.
Understand limitations & considerations
- Some interactions may open the Breeze Assistant mobile app depending on system behavior.
- Widget content updates at intervals managed by the operating system.
Add Breeze Assistant mobile widgets
Widgets give access to common Breeze Assistant interactions from the home screen. These interactions include starting a prompt, viewing recent responses, or launching a predefined task.
- To add a widget to a device's home screen, refer to documentation for each operating system:
- After adding a widget placeholder, search for Breeze.
- Select a widget size and type, such as:
- Quick Ask: start a new prompt.
- Recent Response: view the latest Breeze Assistant output.
- Action Shortcut: trigger a predefined task (e.g., creating an email draft).
Use Breeze Assistant mobile shortcuts
Mobile shortcuts give access to Breeze Assistant actions through a device’s system search, shortcut menus, or app icon shortcuts.
- To add or manage mobile shortcuts, refer to documentation for each operating system:
- After creating or enabling shortcuts, use Breeze Assistant mobile actions directly from system search or shortcut menus.
- Select from available shortcut types, such as:
- Start a prompt: begin a new Breeze interaction.
- Begin dictation: speak a prompt into Breeze Assistant.
- Recent response: open the latest Breeze Assistant output.
