Unpublish a HubSpot form
Last updated: July 23, 2026
Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:
Unpublish a HubSpot form to stop collecting submissions without deleting the form. When you unpublish a form, visitors can no longer submit it, but your existing submissions and analytics remain available.
This is useful if you want to hide a form, turn off submissions, or remove a form from your website without losing data. For example, you can unpublish an event registration form when the event ends to prevent new signups while keeping existing responses for reporting.
Unpublished forms can be republished at any time.
Permissions required Edit forms permissions are required to unpublish a form.
Understand what happens when you unpublish a form
- The form’s publish status is set to Draft.
- Visitors can no longer submit the form.
- Share links and embedded forms are replaced with the message: This form is no longer accepting submissions. Thank you for your interest.
- The form's simple workflows are automatically turned off.
- Existing form analytics and submission data are not affected.

- On the All forms tab, review the following columns:
- Publish Status: displays Published when a form is active and Draft when a form is unpublished.

Please note: if your form content has been found to be in violation of HubSpot's Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, the form may be suspended and automatically unpublished. Once the violation is corrected, you can publish your form. Learn more about HubSpot's content moderation policies.
