Cancel a scheduled or processing marketing email

You can cancel the following types of marketing emails:

Once an email is finished processing, it can no longer be canceled. 

Cancel a sent or scheduled email

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
  2. Click the name of the sent or scheduled email.
  3. On the email performance page, click the Actions dropdown menu in the top right and select Cancel processing or Cancel scheduled email.
  4. In the dialog box, click Cancel processing or Cancel scheduled email.

Send an email cancelled during processing

If you cancel a scheduled email, it reverts to draft mode. If you cancel an email during processing, you will need to clone it to edit or send it later. 

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
  2. Hover over the canceled email and click Clone
  3. In the right panel, select Regular, then click Clone
  4. To exclude a list of contacts who were sent the original email:
    • Click the Recipients tab. 
    • Click the Don't send to dropdown menu and select the list
  5. Edit and send the email.
