Cancel a scheduled or processing marketing email

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:
You can cancel the following types of marketing emails:
- Emails that have been scheduled to send in the future.
- Emails that are scheduled to send based on a recipient's time zone.
- Emails that are still processing
Once an email is finished processing, it can no longer be canceled.
Cancel a sent email
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
- Click the name of the sent email.
- On the email performance page, click the Actions dropdown menu in the top right and select Cancel processing.
- In the dialog box, click Cancel processing.
Cancel a scheduled email
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
- Click the name of the scheduled email.
- In the email editor, click the Schedule tab.
- Select Send now. This will cancel the scheduled send.
Send an email cancelled during processing
If you cancel an email during processing, you will need to clone it to edit or send it later.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Email.
- Hover over the canceled email and click Clone.
- In the right panel, select Regular, then click Clone.
- To exclude a segment of contacts who were sent the original email:
- Click the Recipients tab.
- Click the Don't send to dropdown menu and select the segment.
- Edit and send the email.
