Why is a Sales Rep receiving lead revisit notifications for leads that they do not own in Salesforce?

  • To verify your Sales Rep's notification status for lead revisit emails:
    • Navigate to Account Menu [your avatar] > Settings.

      Click on Notifications from the left-hand side menu.
    • Next to the user's email address, click on link for 'Lead Revisit'.
    • A window will open that provides options for setting lead revisit notifications per user: No leads, All leads in the contact database, The leads that [email address of user] owns. Choose whichever option you'd like for your user.

    • If the user has the option checked to receive 'All leads in the contacts database', then they will receive emails for every lead (even those that they do not own in Salesforce).
    • If the user only wants to receive notifications for their leads, check the option for 'The leads which I own'.
