Monitor spam with a daily spam submission digest

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

The daily spam submission digest helps you monitor spam activity across your HubSpot forms. Each day, it summarizes spam submissions detected in the previous 24 hours, including the number of submissions blocked for each form and the types of spam identified.

Reviewing the digest helps you evaluate how effectively your forms are preventing spam and identify forms that may need closer monitoring or updates. For example, you can view whether a specific form is receiving repeated spam attempts and which spam categories are being flagged.

Requirements

How the spam submission digest works

  • Each day, the system checks for form submissions that were flagged as spam during the previous 24 hours, based on your account’s time zone.
  • A digest notification is sent only if spam is detected. If no submissions are flagged as spam, you won’t receive a digest.

When to expect the digest

  • After turning on the digest for a form, you’ll receive the first digest within 24 hours, if spam is detected.
  • Digests are scheduled to arrive each morning before 12:00 PM (noon) local time. The delivery time varies based on your account’s data hosting location and time zone
    • The digest may take up to 30 minutes after the scheduled time to arrive.
