Exclude records from an active list

To exclude specific contacts from being added to an active list, you can create an exclusion list. Records that are excluded using this setting will not be included in the list even if they meet the filter requirements. 

To create a suppression list: 

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Lists.
  • Click an active list.
  • Click the Settings tab.
  • In the Exclusions section, click the dropdown menus to select lists or records you want to exclude from the list. You can exclude up to five lists or 25 records from a list. 
  • Click Save

Records selected or included in selected lists will not be added to the list moving forward, even if they meet the list filter criteria. Learn more about creating and editing lists.
