Migrate billing data out of HubSpot

If you no longer wish to use HubSpot payments to process payments and manage subscriptions, you can request a PAN data transfer, which migrates your customers payment methods to a Stripe account. After migration, you will need to rebuild your subscriptions in Stripe and associate the payment methods to those subscriptions. Learn more about PAN data transfers and data copying considerations in Stripe's documentation.

  1. Once the PAN data transfer is initiated, you will receive an email notification with a Stripe migration request ID.

  2. Turn off cancelled subscriptions notifications for customers, so they don't receive a cancellation email.
  3. When the subscriptions are migrated and active in Stripe, cancel your subscriptions in HubSpot to avoid duplicate billing.
