HubSpot uses automated systems to make sure that all users are following HubSpot's Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service. This process is important in protecting our customers' experience with our platform.
If suspicious activity is detected at sign-up or when using the platform, access to certain features will be temporarily suspended. When this occurs at sign-up, HubSpot may ask you for more information about your account. A member of HubSpot's team will review the details of the suspension, the information you provide, and your account to make a final decision.
What tools can get suspended?
Tools used to collect or host information can be suspended at any time if suspicious activity is detected. This includes marketing email, files, landing pages, forms, and the calling tool.
What can I do if my account gets suspended?
If your access to any tools gets suspended, you'll see a banner alert message in your account for the impacted tool with details about the suspension. If the suspension can be appealed, you will be prompted to complete an identity verification in Nametag. Nametag is HubSpot's identity verification partner. Learn more about Nametag.
How long does the review take?
Your submission to Nametag will be reviewed in a few minutes.
What if my identity verification fails?
Nametag requires that the name on your HubSpot profile matches the name on your identification. You may contact HubSpot Support if your identity verification fails and you require additional assistance, but you will still be required to complete the Nametag identity verification process.
I have more questions for Nametag. Who can I contact?
If you have other questions about Nametag's service, you can contact help@getnametag.com or follow up with HubSpot Support.
