How do I test a contact against my manual lead scoring rules?

  • In your HubSpot Marketing Basic, Professional, or Enterprise account, navigate to Contacts > Lead Scoring.
  • In the Manual Lead Scoring tab, click Test Contact on the right-hand side.
  • In the dialog box that appears, search for the contact you'd like to test. Select the radio button next to their name and click Test.

  • HubSpot will proceed to review the contact and note whether it meets any of the requirements to receive any potential points.
  • You will see which attributes the tested contact meets or does not meet indicated by the green message, "meets these requirements", or the red message "does not meet these requirements".
