Update your blog's date format

Update your blog's date format based on your style, language, and your blog's audience.

Select the blog for blog date configuration

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon settings in the main navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, click on the Website dropdown menu and select Blog.
  • At the top of the screen, click the Select a blog to modify dropdown and select a blog to configure. If you only have one blog, you'll only see one option in the drop-down menu.
  • Click on the Language tab to see the blog date formatting options.

Choose the language for dates

Click the dropdown menu and use the search bar to select the language for your blog's date format. 

Publish Date Format

Click the dropdown menu to select the format for your blog post publishing dates. These formats will correspond to the Language for dates selected above. 

If you're comfortable working with code, you can also use a custom date format that you create using Locale Data Markup Language. You can find more information on using LDML by clicking on the What's this? link on the settings page.

Posts by Month Format

Click the Posts by month format dropdown menu to choose the format for your blog. These formats will correspond to the Language for dates selected above. 

If you're comfortable working with code, you can also choose to use a custom date format that you create using Locale Data Markup Language. You can find more information on using LDML by clicking on the What's this? link on the settings page.
