Use the company research agent

With the company research agent, you can assess the relevant information about a company including funding signals, organizational changes, tech stack and more. 

Please note: Please avoid sharing any sensitive information in your enabled data inputs for AI features, including your prompts. Admins can configure generative AI features in account management settings. Set up the company research agent

Permissions required Super Admin permission is required to set up the agent.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Breeze > Marketplace.
  2. Click Explore now.
  3. On the All Breeze Agents page, click the Company Research Agent card.
  4. On the Company Research Agent page, click Add beta agent.
  5. To open the agent, click Open. You'll be directed to the agent editor.

The company research agent page is displayed in Breeze Marketplace. A brief description is provided: researches companies for great background info before reaching out. An Add beta agent button is displayed.

Configure the company research agent

Once the company research agent is added, Super Admins can manage access, add extra instructions, and automate the agent.

Permissions required Super Admin permission is required to configure the agent.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Breeze > Breeze Studio.
  2. On the Agents tab, hover over the Company Research Agent card and click the verticalMenuIcon menu icon. Then select Configure. You can also click the agent card and then click Configure in the top right of the agent editor.
  3. To continue configuring the agent, learn more about customizing Breeze Agents and managing access.

Use the company research agent

The company research agent gathers and evaluates data from sources that are accessible to the public, such as news and information on products or services. Additionally, the agent presents an overview of competitors, industry patterns, and data from your own CRM. 

You can use the company research agent from Breeze Studio and from company records.

A Sales Hub Professional or Enterprise subscription is required to use the company research agent from company records.



To use the company research agent from Breeze Studio:
  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Breeze > Breeze Studio.
  2. On the Agents tab, click the Company Research Agent card.
  3. In the Domain or Company name field, enter the name of a company (e.g., HubSpot) or the domain (e.g., hubspot.com).
  4. Click Run agent.
  5. Once the agent has researched the company, view the default output. To customize the output, learn more about customizing Breeze Agents. You can view the following sections:
    • Executive Summary
    • Company Overview & Background
    • Recent News & Trigger Events
    • Products & Services
    • Industry & Competitive Landscape
    • Customers & Market
    • Company CRM Research 
  6. To export the HubSpot Prospect Intelligence Brief, click Export PDF in the top left of the Output column. 
To use the company research agent from company records:
  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to CRM > Companies.
  2. On the company index page, click the name of a company.
  3. To add the company research agent card to the company record, click Customize at the top right of the middle column. You'll be directed to the Record Customization tab for companies your settings. Learn more about customizing records.
  4. On the company record, click Start research in the Company research agent card.
  5. Once the agent has researched the company, view the output on the Company research agent card.

View the company research agent history

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Breeze > Breeze Studio.
  2. On the Agents tab, click the Company Research Agent card.
  3. In the History column, select the name of a previous run of the agent.
  4. In the Activities column, view the activities and actions the agent completed.
  5. In the Output column, view the output from the agent.
