Why is HubSpot not including custom properties as part of the predictive lead scoring model?

The reason HubSpot isn’t including custom properties as part of the model is that there may be false positives that prevent HubSpot from learning about your contacts.

For example, there may be a custom property “Is this contact paying us money,” where the value would dictate what the score would be in an unhelpful way. This would lead to misleading predictions about the likelihood of becoming a customer for new contacts.
