Some users may experience the following error message when attempting to install HubSpot Sales in Outlook:
An error occured attempting to install HubSpot Sales in Outlook.
Please note: these steps apply to the HubSpot Sales Outlook plugin. If you have the HubSpot Sales Office 365 add-in, follow the troubleshooting steps for that add-in instead.
If you received this error, follow the steps below to allow for proper installation of HubSpot Sales:
- Paste the URL that appears the error message into Internet Explorer to re-initiate the download. It is also possible to copy one of the URLs from here and paste into Internet Explorer:
- If the new installation doesn't resolve the problem, then please add app.hubspot.com, dl.getsidekick.com and app.getsidekick.com to your trusted sites zone within Internet Explorer.
- If the issue persists, then the installation is still being blocked. Please disable any antivirus programs and run the install once more. Alternatively, contact your network administrator to check for any other programs that may be blocking the HubSpot Sales download. Once you go through the installation process again, HubSpot Sales should install correctly and appear in Outlook.
