Edit a blog template in the design manager
Last updated: January 18, 2023
Blog post templates and some blog listing templates consist of multiple modules and are edited in the design manager. The blog content module is a coded template file that must be edited using HTML/HubL markup. Other modules, such as those in the Blog Sidebar group, can be edited in the layout editor.
Blog listing pages can also be created and edited in the content editor. Templates that use themes or have drag and drop areas support adding or rearranging modules directly in the editor.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing > Website > Blog.
- In the upper left, click the Blog dropdown menu and select a blog.

- Hover over a blog post and click Edit.
- In the content editor, click the Settings tab, then click Advanced options.
- In the Template section, click Edit this template.
- In the layout editor of the design manager, click the Blog Content module.
- In the right sidebar menu, under the Post Templates section, click Edit post template or Edit listing template.

- In the module editor, edit your post or listing template. Learn more about editing a listing template in the drag and drop editor instead.
- In the layout editor, click a module to edit it. Modules appearing to the right of post content on your blog will be in the Blog Sidebar group.
