Use the reporting sidebar (BETA)

From the dashboards and reports tools, use the left sidebar to view and create dashboards and reports.

View and create dashboards

To view your existing dashboards:

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reports > Dashboards.
  • In the left sidebar, click the dashboards icon. You can then browse through your recently viewed dashboards, or click View all dashboards to view all your existing dashboards.

To create a new dashboard:

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reports > Dashboards.
  • In the left sidebar, click the + plus icon.

  • To create the dashboard from scratch, select Dashboard from scratch.
  • To create the dashboard using one of HubSpot's pre-built dashboards:
    • Select Dashboard from library. You'll then be taken to the dashboard library.
    • On the left, use the filters to navigate between types of dashboards, such as Sales or Marketing dashboards. Once you've found the type of dashboard you want to create, select the dashboard template tile.
    • In the right panel, review your dashboard details. By default, all reports in the template will be added to your dashboard. To exclude reports from a dashboard, clear the checkboxes to deselect the reports. Then click Next.
  • In the right panel, enter a dashboard name.
  • Then set which users can access the dashboard:
    • Private to owner: allow only your user and admins to view and edit the dashboard. A super admin can only select this if they are the owner of the dashboard.
    • Everyone: allow all users in your HubSpot account to view the dashboard.
      • Select View and edit to allow all users to view and edit the dashboard.
      • Select View only to allow all users to view, but not edit, the dashboard.
    • Only specific users and teams (Enterprise only): allow specific users and teams in your HubSpot account to view the dashboard.
      • Select View and edit to allow specific users to view and edit the dashboard. Click Next in the bottom right and select the users and teams that will have view and edit access to the dashboard.
      • Select View only to allow specific users to view, but not edit, the dashboard. Click Next in the bottom right and select the users and teams that will have view access to the dashboard.
  • In the bottom right, click Create dashboard.

After creating your dashboard, you can customize it further by editing, resizing, and removing reports, or by adding notes to the dashboard and more. Learn more about customizing dashboards.

Create and view reports

To view your existing reports:

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reports > Reports.
  • In the left sidebar, click the generateChart reports icon. You can then browse through your recently viewed reports, or click View all reports to view all your existing reports.

To create a new report:

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reports > Reports.
  • In the left sidebar, click the + plus icon.

  • To create the report from scratch, select Report from scratch. You'll then be taken to the report builder where you can continue building your custom report.
  • To create the report using HubSpot's report library, select Report from library. You can then continue to browse the library and select a report.
