How uninstalling the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension affects access to the features of a connected inbox

The HubSpot Sales Chrome extension brings the sales tools and the track and log email options to your inbox. A connected inbox links your email host to HubSpot so you can send email from a contact record with your email servers and use some of the sales tools (such as sequences and the send later feature) that the Chrome extension brings to your inbox.

While uninstalling the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension does not affect your connected inbox, keep in mind the following if you decide to leave your inbox connected or disconnect it after uninstalling the extension:

Uninstalling the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension and leaving your inbox connected

If you uninstall the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension, you'll lose access to the features of HubSpot Sales in Gmail, including contact profiles, sales tools, and logging and tracking emails.

With your inbox still connected, however, you can send email from a contact record in HubSpot and continue using your sales tools that require a connected inbox (such as sequences) in your HubSpot account, but not in Gmail.

If you uninstall the HubSpot Sales Chrome extension and disconnect your inbox from HubSpot, you'll lose access to the features of HubSpot Sales in Gmail as well as sales tools in HubSpot that require a connected inbox. Additionally, you won't be able to send emails from a contact record in HubSpot and use some of the other features of a connected inbox.

Log emails without the extension

Whether you decide to leave your inbox connected or not, once you uninstall the Chrome extension, you can still manually log emails using your BCC address
