Which email messages count towards my HubSpot account's email send limit?

Each HubSpot account has an associated monthly email send limit. This is calculated every time an email is sent by you through HubSpot. Each send counts toward your total; for example, if you set up one email to send to 100 contacts, that is calculated as 100 email sends.

The email messages that count toward your account limit are:

  • One-off emails sent from the email tool (Content > Email)
  • Automated emails sent within workflows (Contacts > Workflows), including internal emails
  • Follow-up emails set to send to contacts after a form submission
  • Your blog's automated subscription emails

This does not include emails from the HubSpot CRM or systematic emails sent by HubSpot (notifications and test emails). If you have any questions pertaining to your email send limit, please contact your HubSpot Customer Success Manager.
