How to create a Google AdWords campaign in HubSpot's Ads tool

To create a new Google AdWords campaign in HubSpot's Ads tool, follow the instructions below:

  • Navigate to Reports > Ads.
  • Click the blue button at the top-right that says Create campaign.

  • Click on the Google AdWords logo
  • Select the HubSpot landing page on which you want to base your campaign from the dropdown. If you'd like to use an external landing page, click Or manually enter a page URL, input the URL, and click Select

  • Next, choose a HubSpot CampaignPaid Campaign NameAdGroup Name, and choose whether or not to include search partners in the Networks section.

  • Click Next
  • In the Create an ad screen, make sure all the information here is correct: Headline, Description line 1 and 2, Display URL, and Final URL. Click Next.
  • Next, verify you have the keywords you want in your campaign. Click the X next to an already added keyword to remove it or type in a keyword and click Add to add a new keyword. 
  • Click Next.
  • On theTarget Locations screen, click into the dropdown menu, then type in a location where you want to run your campaign. You can choose multiple locations here.
  • Click Next.
  • Set your Maximum cost per click and Daily budget. Click Need help calculating your bid?  to input your average sales price, customer close rate, and landing page conversion rate and calculate an appropriate cost per click and daily budget.
  • Once you've set your budget, click Next
  • Finally, review and create your Adwords campaign. Click Edit next to a section to make any changes. When you're satisified with your choices, click Done.

You've successfully created a Google Adwords campaign!
