Tag feedback survey submissions

Learn how to tag feedback survey submissions. This allows you to easily categorize customer feedback to identify common themes and act on them to address customer concerns.
Tag an individual survey response
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automations > Surveys.
- Click the survey you want to tag the responses for.
- Hover over the response and click Add tags.
- Click the Tags dropdown menu and select a tag. Or, type in a tag and click + Add tag to add a new tag.
- Click Update tags.
Bulk tag survey responses
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automations > Surveys.
- In the left sidebar, click All responses.
- Select the checkbox next to the responses you want to tag and click Add tags.
- In the popup box, select one or more tags and click Add tags.
Manage your tags
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automations > Surveys.
- On the left sidebar, click Tags.
- On the upper right, click Add tags.
- In the popup box, enter a new tag name and click Create.
- To delete a tag, select the tag and click Delete tag.
- To edit a tag, hover over a tag and click Edit.
You can add up to 10 tags per feedback submission. Each tag can be up to 100 characters long.
Once created, tags can be used to filter responses, create views in the feedback tool, and used as criteria for lists and reports.
