Edit report filters (BETA)

After creating your reports in the single object report builder or saving a template, use filters to refine the data. Report filters can be accessed in the top navigation bar on a report or apply a filter through search by typing a value and the report will filter to display data related to the value.

  • In your HubSpot account, navigate to Reporting > Reports.
  • Click the name of a report. 

Filter by search

  • In the top left of the report, filter the data by typing a term related to the fields displayed in the report.

  • For example, if the report is displaying deals data, type in terms related to the deal name or deal description. The report will refresh and display data that contains the search term in the deal name or description.

Filter by fields

  • In the top navigation bar, filter your report using a date property or date range. Click the dropdown menu to select a date property or set a date range.

  • Depending on the data source for the report, related quick filters will display in the top navigation bar of the report by default. 
  • To add a quick filter, click + More.

  • Configure the quick filter. The report will automatically update.
  • To add another quick filter, click + Add.

  • To edit a quick filter, click edit Edit.

Advanced filters

  • To further customize your report, click filter Advanced filters in the top right.

  • In the right panel, Click + Add filter.
  • Search for and select a [object] property
  • In the right panel, configure your filter. 
  • To add another filter, click + Add filter.

Please note: only the AND operator can be used to filter in the Advanced filters section.

Apply quick controls to your report

Depending on the report, other controls are available above the chart. These can include FrequencyCurrency, Goals, comparisons, and more.

  • Click the control above the chart.

  • Select a value from the dropdown menu. The report will automatically update to filter to reflect the new setting.
