Add line items to deals using workflows

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Use the Add line item workflow action to associate specific products with deals in workflows. For example, you may want to automatically add a line item to a deal whenever the deal reaches a specific stage in your deal pipeline. 

Please note: this action is only available in deal-based workflows.

  1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Automation > Workflows.
  2. Click the name of an existing deal-based workflow or create a new deal-based workflow.
  3. Set your enrollment triggers.
  4. Click the + plus icon to add an action.
  5. In the left panel, click to expand the CRM section. Then, click Add line item to deal
  6. Configure the Add line item to deal action: 
    • Deal: choose to associate the line items with the enrolled deal or a different associated deal. 
    • Product: select the line item that you'd like to associate with the deal. Learn more about creating and managing products
    • Quantity: select the number of products that you'd like to associate with the deal. 
  7. After setting up your action, at the top, click Save
  8. Continue setting up your workflow
