No, HubSpot Sales does not support Apple Mail. As it turns out, Apple does not provide any support or resources for third-party developers to use in creating add-ons for Apple Mail, and this is making it increasingly difficult to maintain even basic functionality inside Apple Mail.
If you are able to access your email via Gmail, G Suite (formerly known as Google Apps for Work), or the Windows version of Outlook then you will be able to continue using HubSpot Sales and will have access to more features.
Resolving issues with Apple Mail in El Capitan (9.0-9.2)
If you encounter an issue with the final working version of HubSpot Sales for Apple Mail, where upon opening Apple Mail and logging into your HubSpot Sales account your credentials read Unknown, simply restart Apple Mail to resolve the issue. To do so:
- Within Apple Mail select Command + Q to quit the application.
- Once Apple Mail has closed, simply reopen it.
- When prompted to log in, you should be able to sign in without issue.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, then you will likely need to use one of HubSpot Sales's supported email clients (Outlook for Desktop or Gmail).
Instructions for uninstalling the HubSpot Sales' Apple Mail add-on can be found here.
