Connect your ads account to HubSpot

If you have ads publishing permission in your HubSpot account, you can connect Facebook Ads and Google AdWords (Ads add-on only) accounts to HubSpot. 

Facebook Ads

You can connect your Facebook lead ads to HubSpot from within your HubSpot account or from within your Facebook accountIf you have multiple Facebook Ads accounts, you can connect them all to HubSpot to track performance for all connected ad accounts, view ad performance across two connected ad accounts simultaneously, and create audiences for multiple accounts.

From HubSpot

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon settings in the main navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, click Marketing, then click Ads.
  • On the Accounts tab, click Connect account.
  • Select Facebook in the dialog box.
  • Enter your Facebook Ads credentials and click Log In.
  • If you are a user in multiple Facebook Ads accounts, you will see a dialog box with a list of your accounts. Check the box to the left of the accounts you want to connect to HubSpot and click Connect accounts.


Once connected, your Facebook Ads account(s) will appear in your ads settings. Other users in your HubSpot account with access to your ads settings can also connect their Facebook Ads accounts to HubSpot by following the steps above.

Please note: when you connect your ads account in your ads settings, your existing lead ad campaigns in Facebook will sync to HubSpot automatically and will appear on your ads dashboard. Any leads that have been created from these ads in the last 90 days will be created as contacts in your HubSpot portal. These existing leads will not be reflected in New Contacts on your Ads dashboard; only new leads from these connected campaigns moving forward will appear here.

By default, syncing for all Facebook pages will be turned off when you connect your account. Learn how to manage syncing for a particular Facebook page. 

From Facebook

  • Navigate to your Facebook page. 
  • Click the Publishing Tools tab at the top, then click Leads Setup in the left sidebar menu.

  • Search for HubSpot in the Search CRM providers box, then click Connect.
  • Enter your HubSpot credentials and click Log in.
  • Click the dropdown menu and select the Facebook Ads account that you'd like to connect, then click Connect account.

  • HubSpot will now appear as a connected CRM in the Leads Setup section. 

Please note: Facebook stores leads from lead ads for 90 days after creation; when you connect your Facebook Ads account to HubSpot, these leads will be synced to HubSpot, along with leads generated going forward. Learn how to control which Facebook pages sync leads to HubSpot.

Google AdWords (Ads add-on only)

  • In your HubSpot account, click the settings icon settings in the main navigation bar.
  • In the left sidebar menu, click Marketing, then click Ads.
  • On the Accounts tab, click Connect account.
  • Log in to your Google account using the email address connected to your AdWords account. 
  • Click Allow to authorize the HubSpot AdWords integration to manage your AdWords campaigns. 

  • You'll be redirected back to your HubSpot ads tool, where you'll see your connected AdWords account. If you do not have a connected AdWords account, you'll receive a notice that your account has not successfully been connected. You can sign up for an account here.

Please note: it is only possible to connect one individual AdWords account to your HubSpot account. It is not possible to track multiple accounts even if they are within the same manager account (MCC).


As of July 31, 2017, the LinkedIn Ads integration has been removed from HubSpot. Any LinkedIn campaigns originally created in HubSpot will continue to run in LinkedIn Ads.
